In 2009, Techninier was born with a noble dream to not only connect people far and wide, but to also help enterprises grow and become successful.
"When you focus on the consumer, the consumer responds."
Not long after that, our efforts were recognized as we pushed the limits of social networking technology in not only Malaysia but internationally as well. Having just been nominated as the finalist in the Meffys Award 2011 and the World Communication Award 2011, we were the recipient of the GoMobile Innovation Award 2012. The award was presented to our very own Dato' Lion Peh, the Chief Executive Officer, by Y.B. Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Information, Communications & Culture, Malaysia. It was a tremendous achievement for us.
Awards
Social networking games has become one of the hottest topics of our time, and in keeping with our passion to create more products that connect people, we introduced our first in-house developed Android game, World War III, and began our first mobile game tournament in Malaysia with our partner, Celcom. This game was described as a classic, casual "shoot-em-up" game. At the same time, our proprietary mobile gaming tournament platform was born.
It's popularity skyrocketed as players played day after day to overtake each in the tournament and eventually we pushed the Malaysian mobile gaming industry to new heights through our very own game. The top 10 winners of the tournament were given dazzling prizes that amounted to more than a staggering RM110,000 in worth. Needless to say, the winners were over the moon.

Paypin
Lately, we started to understand that gamers without a credit card were having issues with buying game credits. Thus, we started working on Paypin, a mobile payment platform that uses Direct Carrier Billing (DCB), to address this very issue.
More New Games
We have faced many challenges, but we understand more than anything that what all of the above require is time, patience and a simple goal that drives us; We just want to make great products. In keeping with that goal, our team continued to research and enhance user interfaces and social features. We also developed more new games like Fishy Fish, Bouncy Dango, Monster Magic and Sky Invasion.
First deployment of eSports platform with U Mobile
In April 2016, we deployed our first eSports platform in collaboration with U Mobile. Sky Invasion was the first tournament game. Living up to its predecessor, World War III, Sky Invasion attracted many gamers and we were happy to award prizes worth up to RM100,000 to the winners of the Sky Invasion Tournament!
Deployment of eSports platform with Maxis
In order to keep the momentum going, we deployed our eSports platform in November 2016 in collaboration with Maxis.
Hotlink Clash Royale Leaderboard
Our partnership with Maxis didn’t end there. Realizing the immense popularity of Supercell's latest mobile game Clash Royale, we partnered up with Maxis to host the first ever Hotlink Clash Royale Tournament Leaderboard to allow the best Clash Royale players in Malaysia to win royally!
Paypin for U Mobile
Just before 2016 ended, we made our first deployment of Paypin for U Mobile. Their customers can now conveniently purchase Steam wallet codes anytime and anywhere without the use of credit cards.
2017
Deployment of eSports platform with Celcom
2016 was an exciting and fruitful year for us. We had learned a lot and we continued to innovate. Our team was growing. In March 2017, in collaboration with Celcom, we achieved an important milestone by launching our 3rd deployment of eSports platform. Celcom customers could win cash prizes from a pool of RM1,000,000 by participating and battling it out for the top scores. Using our 2nd generation shoot-em-up game engine, Sky Invasion 3D went live as the first tournament game. Within 3 months, it generated more than 250,000 installs and it had become one of the top trending games in Google Play. Our CEO shared and celebrated the achievement with us and he decided to offer free daily breakfast and lunch to all of us from now onwards. We want our employees to think that this is the best place they’ve ever worked.
Paypin and deployment of eSports platform with Digi
We’ve been lucky enough that our success has given us more opportunity to partner with other telcos like Digi and deployed our eSports platform and at the same time we also deployed Paypin for Digi to pay for their game credit purchases with their DCB.
Se7en Gear
We touched down after Sky Invasion 3D and traded our jet engines for car engines as we revved up our motors in our next game, Se7en Gear! In Se7en Gear, the player is put behind the wheels of a variety of top-notch cars and will have to put their driving skills to the test by completing various courses in the shortest time possible. Labeled as an arcade time attack racing game, the player's race through 8 gorgeously rendered 3D environments and try to get the highest score to come out on top of the leaderboards and stand a chance to win actual cars as prizes!
Kill Shot Legacy
In late 2017, we pulled the trigger and let loose a new tournament game about a time travelling cowboy; Kill Shot Legacy. Labeled as an Arcade On-Rails Shooter, it featured cowboys, army men and robots in one exciting package. With simple but hard to master 'Tap to Shoot' gameplay, it was a step up from our previous games and was a step in the direction of hardcore gaming!
2018
Endless Trials
For our next game, we decided to have a little fun and make a simpler game. In 2018 we released Endless Trials, an arcade skill-based auto-runner. In the Endless Trials game show, the player chooses one of our many wacky animal contestants from around the world, each with special skills, to brave the trials and survive as many deadly rooms as possible to reach the goal at the end. The rooms consist of laser rooms, rocket rooms, swimming rooms and many, many more!
Knight Clash
When the dust settled after the Trials were finished, a brave knight and his valiant steed galloped onto the scene to save a fair princess from an evil lord! We launched Knight Clash around July 2018, an auto running, side scrolling action game! In Knight Clash, the player is a brave knight who has to fight through various levels filled with more and more nefarious enemies in order to save the princess from the clutches of evil.
Space Rider: Star Hunt
Later in the year, we hit the accelerator to introduce our newest tournament game - Space Rider: Star Hunt. The high-speed shooting game let players test their velocity as Ace Starfield in saving the galaxy. It involves players as a rider of a lightning fast and futuristic bike to speed down winding highways surrounded by tough challenges. Players race through vibrant galactic landscapes in search of Star Signs and score big to finally restore the balance of the galaxy!

We started to venture into Enterprise IT by introducing our proprietary Integrated Asset Management System (IAMS) with the integration of the latest key technology applications including Road Asset Condition Assessment System (RACAS), Radio Frequency Identification System (RFID), Integrated Database Management System (IDMS), Geographical Information System (GIS) Mapping System and Integrated Database Management System.
Enterprise IT
We also sponsored a pilot project for road and building asset management under its corporate social responsibility program for Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak in 2016. This is a key initiative to modernize and improve the state’s asset management. The project utilizes modern technologies and systems integrated by our IAMS which was used to digitally capture information on road and building assets and conditions.
Our CSR Project
Following that, we completed the digitization and inventory updating for all roads (around 600 km) under the Council of the City of Kuching South (MBKS) in 2016. A combination of road mapping technology and GIS systems were applied.
Digitization
We endeavoured to launch a product that will give back and help the people, and thus iPeople was born, the one-stop digital platform that enables citizens and communities to connect to the government. This online service is efficient and more accessible to the citizens and communities. It allows citizens and communities to report concerns and issues on a single platform instantly and more precisely via geo-tagging technology. It tracks turnaround time for all reports and concerns raised via iPeople. All of this to improve the quality of living of the very people who made us who we are.
